AI agents for FMCG distribution

The route, the shop, the money. One book.

Mimi is a team of AI agents on WhatsApp. It collects what shops owe, catches leaks on the route and shows brands what really sold. Shops use it free.

WhatsAppVoice notesNotebook photosBank transfers

02 / The problem

Trade runs on trust. Trust leaks.

01

Money goes missing between the van and the bank.

Debts live in notebooks and WhatsApp threads. Nobody has the full picture.

02

Fake alerts walk goods out of the shop.

The screenshot says paid. The bank says no.

03

Brands pay for promos and sales they can't see.

They see what distributors bought, not what shops sold.

  3. 03
    Mimi checks the math.

When the numbers disagree, Mimi shows the gap, with the evidence.

03 / How it works

Three witnesses for every naira.

Mimi checks each payment against three sources that don't share a story.

  • 01The rep

    What left the van.

  • 02The shop

What arrived, confirmed in one tap.

  • 03The bank

What landed, verified with the payment partner.

When they disagree, Mimi shows the gap, with the evidence.

05 / Trust

Built so shops say yes.

01

Mimi never moves or holds money.

It confirms and reconciles. Money settles to the distributor's own account.

02

Big emails wait for the owner.

Emails to manufacturers, brands and banks stay drafts until the owner approves.

03

Routine messages follow your rules.

Everyday shop messages run on rules the distributor sets.

04

Shops own their data.

Each distributor sees only its own products and payments, with consent. Nobody sees a shop's profit, its customers' debts or competitor sales.

NDPA alignedYour data is yours.

“Shops shouldn't need an app or a laptop to be bankable. Their daily trade should be enough.”

Trust

Shops own their data. Mimi never touches the money.

01 / Four rules

Four rules Mimi keeps.

01

Mimi never moves money.

It reads alerts and drafts reminders. Payments stay between you and your bank.

02

Shops own their book.

A shop can see, export or delete its data any time.

03

Consent per receiver.

Each shop chooses who sees its data, one distributor or brand at a time, and can switch it off.

04

Brands see totals.

Brand dashboards show area totals and trends, with no shop names or money owed unless a shop opts in.

02 / Approvals

Nothing goes out without you.

Emails to brands and banks, credit changes and reminders stay as drafts until the owner approves them in Approvals.

Distributors set every credit limit. Mimi only suggests.

03 / Data handling

How we handle data.

  • 01Encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • 02Access limited to staff who need it, and logged.
  • 03WhatsApp chats are used only to run your account, never sold.
  • 04Data is kept while the account is active and deleted on request.
  • 05Built with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) in mind.

Security practices are being finalised during pilots. Ask us for details.

04 / Questions

We answer every privacy and security question.

Rail Money is now Mimi

Same team. New name. Sharper focus.

Rail Money started as an AI money app for people. Today we build Mimi, a WhatsApp assistant for Nigerian shops and the distributors that supply them.

01 / Why we changed the name

We followed the shops.

We spent our time with shop owners and distributors. Their biggest problem wasn't saving money. It was the notebook: stock that doesn't add up, credit nobody can track, and fake transfer alerts that walk goods out of the shop.

Rail Money sounded like a bank. We don't hold or move anyone's money. Mimi sounds like what it is: a helper you text on WhatsApp.

02 / What Mimi does

Snap the stock book. Mimi does the rest.

01

Reads the book

Send a photo of the stock book, an invoice or a delivery note, or just a voice note. Mimi turns it into clean records.

02

Catches fake alerts

Mimi checks payment screenshots before the goods leave the shop.

03

Shows what sold

With the shop's consent, distributors and brands see what is moving and which shops need restock.

03 / What stays the same

Same company. Same people.

About

Built in Nigeria for the people who keep shelves full.

Mimi is built by Rail Technology Concepts Ltd.

01 / Why Mimi

One book that all three can trust.

Distributors run on notebooks, WhatsApp and memory: who owes what, which shop took which carton, whether that transfer alert is real. Brands see what left the warehouse, not what sold.

Mimi puts the route, the shop and the money in one book that all three can trust, with AI agents that work inside WhatsApp, where the trade already happens.

02 / What we believe

What we believe.

01

Work where people already are

WhatsApp, not another app.

02

The owner decides

Agents draft, people approve.

03

Shops own their data

Each shop chooses who sees its book.
